October is National Adopt a Shelter Dog Month, and this month we’re reminding you to ADOPT LOCAL! SWFL has many shelters & rescues filled with dogs (and cats) waiting for their forever home.
Each shelter does things a little differently, but they all have one big goal in common: finding loving homes for local animals.
And don’t stop looking if you don’t find your perfect match at the first shelter! Available pets change every day, and your new best friend could be waiting at any one of them.
Every time a shelter pet is adopted, it opens up space and resources to help another animal in need. So, this October, don’t just adopt... ADOPT LOCAL!
